Data Backed Decisions

Data can provide boundless possibilities and opportunities.

Most of the world makes decisions by either guessing or using their gut. They will be either lucky or wrong.
This practice was okay a few years back, when we did not have the availability of data or the tools to collate and process such data. But in todays world, if you are still following the same pattern, you will never be able to catch up with the pace of change. It's high time to shun the old practices and change the way the management takes decisions.

Analytical Leader

The right decision at the right time can be the difference between a hit and a miss. To be able to take the right decision at the right time, managers need to ask the right questions, seek the relevant data and have the ability to make sense of the data in the business context. Many a times, complete information may not be available. Leaers and managers must remember "Errors using inadequate data are much less than those using no data at all", - Charles Babbage, mathematician, engineer, inventor.

The 'Analytical Leader' workshop is designed for leaders in decision making and managerial roles. The workshop introduces the concepts of decision making based on data, dealing with imperfect and inadequate data/information. Through case studies and discussions, the workshop leads the participants into seeking data and information, distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant data/information as we today live in an age where we capture more data than we process and utilize. The participants will learn to leverage the power of data in decision making.

Ideal For:

Managers at all levels, Decision Makers.

Data Analysis

Information is the oil of the 21st century, and analytics is the combustion engine.
Due to automation and digitization of processes, today we capture a thousand times more data than we did a decade ago. This data holds the key to visibility onto the business, indicators for system health and insights for taking further course of action. However the very quantum of data is overwhelming. It needs to be analysed and converted to a meaningful and easily understandable format.

The data Analysis workshop is ideal for business analysts, as they learn the nuances of understanding the data, processing and representing it in a manner that is easy for the management to understand and interact. This workshop further dives into good data practices, curating the data while building flexibility and interactivity. It also trains the participants in automating and simplifying the repetitive tasks, thus avoid wasting time in routine jobs while enabling them to focus on newer aspects.

Visualising Data

The Visualising Data workshop aims to teach the participants to take this raw, unusable, incomprehensible data, collate and categorize it as per business needs, followed by presenting it in graphical form for the consumption and interpretation of managers, stakeholders and so on.
